updated 01:30 am EDT, Fri July 8, 2011

Apps are first Recosoft titles on Mac App Store

Recosoft is adding PDF2Office 5.1 and PDF2Office SE for iWork 1.0 to the Mac App Store today. The two apps focus on generating working files from PDFs. PDF2Office 5.1 converts PDFs to Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint documents with support for 2011 Office version formats. The app also supports Pages, Keynote and TextEdit.

PDF2Office for iWork 1.0 converts PDFs to Pages '08 or '09 documents or Keynote resources. It can regroup independent graphic elements, and offers access to preset conversion options and font mappings.

Each app makes its first appearance on the Mac App Store today. They are the first two apps from Recoton to land on the store, with PDF2Office 5.1 selling for $70 and PDF2Ofice SE for iWork 1.0 at $60, with both requiring the standard OS X 10.6.6 App Store minimum OS specifications.
