An updated version of Diacarta, a mobile planning utility, has been released in the App Store. The v2.0 release features a completely new engine that brings support for syncing with the native calendar. The precision of adding and moving events around the clock has also been improved, while Facebook and Twitter integration has been promised for an upcoming update. Additionally, the developers have announced a new partnership with Pitchfork that will result in the creation of an official iOS app for this year's Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago.

During the month of July, Native Instruments is offering a free Scratch Upgrade Kit with the purchase of Traktor Kontrol S4. The Scratch Upgrade Kit includes a license for the Traktor Scratch Pro 2 software, as well as a pair of timecode vinyls and CDs, representing an additional value of $139. Combined with Kontrol, the free Scratch Upgrade kit allows users to mix and scratch with timecode control via directly connected turntables or CD decks.
