Anonymous hacks officers of Arizona Border Police

The hacking group known as Anonymous has once again hacked the Arizona Border Police servers, Gizmodo reported on Wednesday. This time around, however, Anonymous claims it has acted alone and taken social security numbers, photos of girlfriends, and more personal information. This information was reportedly taken from twelve Arizona police officers.

The hacking team also brags about accessing and revealing the personal e-mail, Facebook and accounts of AZDPS spokesperson Stephen Harrison, who has allegedly been bragging about upgraded security and catching the hackers to local news media.

"The same fate will meet anyone else who tries to paint us as terrorists in an Orwellian attempt to pass more pro-censorship or racial-profiling police state laws," a statement from the group threatens.

The motivation for the attack comes from political reasons. Anonymous believes the Arizona Police force is encouraging racism and, among other accusations, has claimed it perpetrates "brutality and torture."
