iPad 2 Display Dock launched, mimics Apple Store displays

updated 10:00 pm EDT, Mon June 20, 2011

Dock displays iPad, charges iPhone or iPod

Accessory-maker newPCgadgets has launched a combination iPhone and iPad 2 dock, iPad 2 Display Dock, reminiscent of the stands seen in Apple retail stores. It is made of polished, clear acrylic, with a recessed base for flush-mounting an iPad in landscape display, sitting at a comfortable typing angle, and an iPhone dock at its top. The designers specifically made the new dock to mimic the look and feel of the Apple Store displays.

The Display Dock is shipping now and costs $75.

    Nice!

I might just get one of these. Although I would like a landscape mode dock in the style of Apple's dock.
