Cyberpower intros gaming, workstation Z68 PCs

Custom gaming PC maker CyberPower is now letting customers Intel's build products powered by Intel's newly announced Z68 chipset. The chipset supports Intel's second-generation Core (Sandy Bridge) chips and uses new GPU virtualization technology. It also allows for SSD caching to speed up access to files on the hard drive.

The virtualization is based on Lucidlogix's Virtu GPU Virtualizaiton, which combines Intel's Quick Sync Video with the 3D visuals from discrete graphics cards.

CyberPower offers the new mainboards on the gaming rigs with the latest Intel Core CPUs and the company's high performance graphics Power Mega series workstations. The gaming PCs with a Z68 mainboard start at $699 while the Power Mega series desktops start at $1,199.
