Better render settings, new Erode Tool on tap
AvisNocturna has updated its landscape-rendering software, launching TerraRay 2.0 today on the Mac app Store. The program is geared toward creating natural landscapes with elements like vegetation, rocks, clouds and water.
Version 2.0 adds custom models -- imported from 3DS files or from the app's custom library -- for placements in new scenes. The 3DS file importer itself is new, alongside improved render settings, new materials and an Erode Tool. Bugfixes are also onboard.
Version 2.0 requires Mac OS X 10.6 or higher and is exclusively available on the Mac App Store for $15.
