iPhoto gets tweaks, bugfixes, new card themes
Apple has released a pair of software updates, most notably iPhoto 9.1.2. The patch adds new card themes, but primarily makes a number of bugfixes as well as some interface improvements. Some of the eliminated glitches include ones with the Zoom slider in Magnify view, toolbar auto-hiding in fullscreen mode, and the formatting of book, card and calendar themes.
Perhaps one of the most critical fixes should solve a problem with upgrading iPhoto 5 libraries. Interface enhancements meanwhile allow multiple book pages to be drag-selected in the All Pages view, and the Tab key to be used when cycling through text fields in a book project. Photo backgrounds are properly preserved when changing book type; lastly, design tools in print project panels have been made accessible via separate Layout and Options buttons.
For all Snow Leopard owners Apple has released the Snow Leopard Font Update. The code deals with errors displaying and printing some OpenType fonts. The file requires Mac OS X 10.6.7, and is a 3.77MB download. iPhoto 9.1.2 requires only Mac OS X 10.6.6, but measures 106.32MB.

Still will not work with NAS
iPhoto still will not manage, nor will it load libraries stored on remote NAS volumes - as it once did. Wait, it's not a bug, it's a feature.
