T-Mobile Bobsled down on Facebook in investigation

T-Mobile in an update on its Facebook wall late Sunday said it had briefly taken down its Bobsled VoIP calling app to deal with a dispute over its look. Facebook has reportedly been worried that the design of the web app looked too much like one of its own features and needed to be "clearly differentiated." No timeframe was given for when Bobsled might come back.

The service is considered the first major VoIP service on Facebook and lets users call each other by their contact names, even if the recipient doesn't have the app. It supports private and wall voicemail messages. T-Mobile Android users should also have access, with more Android phones and iPhones getting it later.
