Logitech outs Squeezebox Controller app for iOS

Logitech has followed up last month's release of its Squeezebox Controller app for Android devices with one for Apple's iOS devices. The app (free, App Store) will work on the iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad. The features are nearly identical to the Android version, with users getting full-fledged control over their Wi-Fi connected Squeezebox devices.

Owners can see metadata and album art as well as control specialized services like Pandora, Last.fm, Facebook and Flickr. Squeezebox players need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. The extra screen real estate of the iPad allows a dual display with simultaneous control and display compared to the one-pane view on the iPhone and iPod touch screens.

    Napster based Music?

I have always disliked Napster for its origins as a theft based music program. I have no respect for a person who was always sleeping in class to get nicknamed 'Napster'. I will never use any product based on Napster or related to Napster in any way.

    wtf?

Fear not, crazy dude. Squeezebox is owned and operated by Logitech, and not based on or related to Napster in anyway.
