Kodak quietly slips out EasyShare C1530 pocket cam

Kodak ships EasyShare C1530 for $80

Kodak has released a new point-and-shoot camera in Europe without any sort of formal announcement. The 14-megapixel EasyShare C1530 is an entry-level device, sporting a 3X optical zoom along with a three-inch monitor. A significant feature is the ability to upload images to a choice of nine social service destinations at the push of a button.

Pressing the Share button while in Review mode will upload photos or videos to a user's pre-selected Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, Twitter, Orkut, Yandex or a Kodak Gallery account as well as an e-mail address or a Kodak Pulse Digital Photo Frame. This does require a physical connection to a computer, however, along with the included software installed.

There is 32MB of storage built-in, with the rest coming in the form of an SDHC memory card slot. The camera shoots 640x480 resolution videos as well and is powered by two AA batteries.

The Kodak EasyShare C1530 is priced at $80 and can be had in red or black. [via PhotographyBlog]
