Tablet could be docked as an all-in-one
Lenovo is reportedly working to create a large tablet based on a 23-inch LCD, according to comments from the company's senior marketing specialist, William Cai. The new device is said to be geared for home use, rather than the mobile functionality that has been the focus of most tablets recently announced by various companies.
"We think that there is potential for a 23-inch tablet," Cai told TechRadar. "We'd have to take care of battery life and we are working to get the weight down."
The design is said to be based on Lenovo's existing all-in-ones, but powered by batteries. Cai suggests the device will be able to be used as a television, or replicate a desktop experience when paired with a keyboard.
The 23-inch tablet is said to be arriving sometime this year, though further details remain unclear.
