Fujifilm says X100 cameras will ship next week

Fujifilm announced that it has resumed production of its vintage-styled X100 camera, after the earthquake and tsunami hit its factory in Japan. The electronics maker assures those interested that the camera will arrive in stores during the first week of April. The camera was also delayed earlier in March due to stronger than expected demand.

The 12.3-megapixel camera uses APS-C sized CMOS sensor and Fujifilm's EXR technology. Its 23mm, f2 prime lens is fixed. The hybrid viewfinder switches between optical and electronic views and can overlay data over the optical viewfinder's view. [via DPReview]
