Soul by Ludacris headphone range released

Signeo USA has recently unveiled a new range of headphones dubbed Soul by Ludacris. Offering an alternative to Dr. Dre's Beats headphones, the range is made up of five models. The range-topper is the SL300 Powered Noise Cancelling headphones, which have powered amplification thanks to two AAA batteries.

They are compatible with iPhones, iPads and iPods and include a detachable cord with an inline remote. A gold-plated 3.5mm connector and adapter for quarter-inch jacks is included. They retail for $300.

The SL150 headphones lack the amplifier but otherwise offer the same features of the SL300. They cost $200. The SL100 set is slightly smaller, including its drivers, and has a $150 price tag, but otherwise has very similar features to the SL150 set.

The SL99s are earbuds, sporting gold-plated connectors, three ear tips and iPhone, iPad and iPod compatibility, along with tangle-resistant cables. They retail for $100. Finally, the SL40 earbuds cost $69 and have slightly lower specs than the SL99s, but the same feature set.

The headphones include carrying cases and are due to ship at an unspecified point in the near future.
