iGo offers 30 percent discount
Pearson has been showcasing its Science Language Central iPhone applications at this weeks National Science Teachers Association's conference, while iGo has announced a 30 percent discount on all of its mobile navigation apps
Pearson, at the National Science Teachers Association's annual conference, showcased three new Language Central for Science for iOS devices. The applications are geared towards students in grades 6-8 and feature a number of tools that can help students learn basic science vocabulary. Topics covered by the applications include life, earth, and physical science, with options to learn via flash cards, trivia challenges, or the Word Fly definition game. All three applications are available free of charge through the App Store.
Until the end of March iGo will be offering discounted prices on all of its iGO My Way iPhone applications. A variety of localized versions are available, including Brazil ($40), Western Europe ($40), Germany/Austria/Switzerland ($15), Australia/New Zealand ($30), North America ($25), and India ($35). All of the applications include Point of Interest databases, as well as 3D landmarks, lane assistance, speed warnings, and more. The company has also announced that a major upgrade of the app will be available on the App Store within a few weeks, featuring Google local search, Green Routing, an live traffic service.
