New crash reporter in v4.2 speeds bug fixes
IGG Software has released an update to its financial software, iBank 4.2. The app can be used to manage and track activity from multiple sources including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, loans, 401k and investment accounts. The upgrade adds in-line editor calculations, improved transaction entry and split editing, and offers enhanced rules for complex imports.
In the latest version, users can better control Import Rule creations, set minimum balances and link back to their bank's website. The update also provides updated British localization and now supports the use of semicolons in CSV files. There are also over 25 bug fixes and a new crash reporter is claimed to help hasten critical fixes.
The software requires Mac OS X 10.5.7 or higher. It costs $60 and is now available directly from the company, while approval for the Mac App Store is still pending. The can sync with a user's iPhone via an iOS app, iBank, which is available separately on the App Store for $5.
