Combination personal and financial organizer
SoftTech Solutions UK and Application Systems have announced the release of a North American version of myLifeOrganiser, a Filemaker-based organizational program that combines personal information like an address book and calendar along with basic financial recordkeeping and calculations, medical and health record storage, pet information, vehicle records and a document organizer that handles scanned documents like warranties, insurance records, tax files and other documents, all in one program.
In the Calendar section, birthdays and other special occasions can be entered, along with repeating events, appointments, renewals, bill and vehicle due dates and more, color-coded by category and (if desired) tagged with a photo. Pet information can be set up as well.
The Address Book section operates much like the Apple-provided Address Book, but the program also includes financial options such tracking mortgages, loans, retirement plans, stock shares and other investments. Scanned documents can be stored and filed by category for easy retrieval.
The Mac version of myLifeOrganiser requires a PowerPC or Intel Mac running 10.5.7 or later, with a minimum speed of 867Mhz. The program costs $40.
