Carriers likely to bring over old plans
Canadian carriers Bell and Telus will announce iPad 2 data plans within "coming weeks," according to e-mails sent out by the two firms. The iPad 2 will officially come to Canada on March 25th, leaving relatively little time for the carriers to cement details. Rogers last week confirmed intentions to carry over existing iPad plans.
Bell and Telus will likely follow suit. The former is selling $15, $35 and $45 plans, the most expensive providing 5GB of regular data combined with a "tablet TV" package. Telus technically offers just a single 500MB plan for $20, but overage caps at 5GB and $30.
