ORIGIN PC unveils EON 15-S,17-S high-performance notebooks

Ready for gaming with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 485M

ORIGIN PC has unveiled the EON 15-S and EON 17-S high-performance notebooks. The notebooks can be configured with Intel's second-generation Core i7 processors, with overclocking capability as well as the option NVIDIA GeForce GTX 485M graphics with 2GB of VRAM. The combination makes the EON 15-S and EON 17-S among the most powerful gaming notebooks currently on the market.

The EON 15-S is equipped with a 15.6-inch 1080p LED 16:9 display and comes with ORIGIN's option for a customizable top cover. In addition to the processor and graphics options, the notebook also incorporates four memory slots for up to 32GB of dual-channel DDR3 RAM at 1333MHz or 16GB of dual-channel DDR3 RAM at 1600MHz. It also comes with the option for Blu-ray, Hybrid and SSD drives. Connectivity is 802.11n Wi-Fi plus USB 3.0 and e-SATA ports.

The EON 17-S includes all the specifications of the 15-S noted above, as well as the addition of a larger 17.3-inch 1080p LED 16:9 display. It also has the option for a built-in TV tuner.

Both notebooks are available now, with pricing dependent on specification.
