CopyPaste Pro 3.0 adds clipboard search, Clip Revolver

updated 09:55 pm EST, Thu February 17, 2011

Specific clip can be selected for constant repaste

Multiple-clipboard software CopyPaste Pro has been updated to version 3.0. The software, from Plum Amazing, allows users to have multiple clipboard options, including a history and a permanent archive of clippings. Version 3.0 adds a new clip format and a search feature for both the history and archives. An old feature, called Clip Revolver, is back in v3.0, which allows the user an option to paste over the most recent clipboard.

Also new in the update is the ability to lock the last used clip -- either copied or pasted -- to the top of the History Stack, where it can be pasted over and over. The preview drawer is modified with buttons that show all the data types on the current clipboard. A bugfix is also onboard, which allows email-address extracting from clips.

CopyPaste Pro 3.0 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. It costs $30.
