iPhone 4 accessories: NuCharge battery case from iKit

updated 07:15 pm EST, Wed February 2, 2011

Stylish, lightweight protection doubles battery

British designers iKit have added the NuCharge battery case to their line of iPhone 4 accessories. The product acts as both a lightweight spare battery and a protective case, and is compatible with both the AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4s. The black (also available in white) case is only six millimeters (0.24 inches) thick and adds only two ounces to the weight of the iPhone 4, but doubles the battery life by sporting a full 1400mAh battery.

The case features a rubberized coating over a hard shell and features a "kickstand" idea for landscape video watching or FaceTime chatting. The battery component has a separate on/off switch and a blue LED light to inform the user how much power remains. Full access to all buttons is maintained.

The NuCharge battery case for iPhone 4 sells for $65 and is available for order now.
