Huawei X6 Android phone spotted at FCC

A new handset from Huawei, the X6, has been revealed by a recent FCC filing. Other than having support for the HSPA+ 14.4Mbps frequencies used by T-Mobile, among others, the handset is said to get a 4.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display, Android 2.2 OS with access to Google Apps and a five-megapixel camera capable of recording HD video. Also mentioned in the user manual is an HDMI output and microSD expandable storage.

Otherwise, the phone should get a b/g/n Wi-Fi radio, assisted GPS functionality and an accelerometer. There is no other indication of when the handset would arrive and what it will cost, but all previous rumors point to T-Mobile getting the X6 sometime in the future. [via TMoNews]
