Marshall ships $59 Minor earphones with mic

Marshall, traditionally associated with amps for guitars, has now started shipping its first set of in-ear headphones. The Minor set was teased back in the fall, and join the over-the-ear Major headphones. The new earphones sport a built-in microphone and remote for use with iPhones, iPods and some other smartphones.

The cable is tangle-resistant and covered with fabric, while Marshall's EarClick design is meant to secure the earphones in wearer's ears. Four sizes of earpads are also included to customize the fit. Each has a 15.4mm moving coil speaker with a sensitivity rating of 115dB at 1kHz and 1mW.

The Minors are now shipping for $59.
