Grace Digital Solo Touch, Bravado X, Mondo hit CES

Grace Digital hoped to get in updates on its radios before a wave of CES news with the launch of three new Internet radios. The Bravado X, Mondo and Solo Touch now have color, higher resolution displays that provide a much clearer and more image-driven interface. All three can be controlled either from buttons or from the company's iPhone remote control app (free, App Store).

Each leans heavily on established Internet audio aggregators and services, including CBS Radio, iheartradio, MP3Tunes, the National Weather Service, Live365, NPR, Pandora, Sirius XM and WeatherBug.

Differences are sharp between the three and are dictated by the mix of screen and speakers. The Mondo (pictured in large form) is considered the relative entry level with a 3.5-inch display, full alarm clock features and support for Ethernet, Wi-Fi, RCA output and USB devices. It has "best in class" audio, Grace claimed.

The Bravado X builds on the features and has a smaller 2.7-inch screen but adds more powerful audio, RCA input and a headphone jack. The Solo Touch is the only touchscreen model and brings a 4.3-inch display as its near-exclusive form of input, albeit with a focus on connecting to an existing home stereo.

Ship dates haven't been given, but the Mondo, Bravado X and Solo Touch will cost $170, $180 and $250 respectively.
