Apple heads donate over $3 million in stock

Two executives and two board members at Apple donated over $3 million in stock this month, according to Securities and Exchange Commission filings. All of the donations took place between the 10th and the 17th; the biggest one is noted to have been made by board member Millard Drexler, also currently the CEO of J. Crew. He donated 6,800 shares on December 14th at a closing price of $320.29 per, making the offering worth about $2.178 million.
The other donors include senior hardware VP Robert Mansfield, who gave away 1,562 shares at a value of approximately $500,715. CFO Peter Oppenheimer made a contribution of 1,320 shares worth $423,205, while board member Arthur Levinson handed out just 277 shares, nevertheless worth $88,809. As the targets of the donations are unlisted, it is unclear whether they were charitable gifts or presented to individuals.
