HEX ships bands that turn iPod nano into wristwatch

updated 04:40 pm EST, Wed December 29, 2010

HEX silicone bands now shipping in nine colors

HEX has begun shipping its watch bands for the iPod nano. Made of reportedly tear-proof silicone, it lets users pop the Apple music player into the enclosure. The earphone jack opening is placed so that users can run the cables up a sleeve if they prefer.

The screen of the nano remains uncovered, so users can control the device unobstructed. The sides also sport pop-out buttons that cover the nano's own hardware controls. HEX is now shipping in the US in nine colors, each priced at $30.

    would prefer brushed aluminum...

... in silver, black or gold anodized..

(also, in this application, bluetooth would have been nice for the headphones if only nano had it :/)
