Features 65W motor to recreate steering torque
Thrustmaster has announced its specially certified for Gran Turismo 5 the T500 RS steering for the PS3. The premium device is designed to replicate the ultra realistic simulation and game physics from the game with an equally impressive hardware experience. To achieve this, the force feedback mechanism is relayed via a 65W industrial motor providing 150mNm at 3000RPM.
To give added realism, the steering wheel mechanism weighs 4.6kgs and the pedal set weighs 7.3Kg. It is also characterized by the extensive use of metal highlights to recreate the look and feel of a sports driving experience. The sequential gearlevers mounted on the base feature large 17cm levers that are constantly accessible without letting go of the wheel.
The Thrustmaster T500 RS will be available late December to mid- Januarydepending on the territory at a suggested retail price of $600.
