More than 70 EA games now only 99 cents

Electronic Arts' mobile division has debuted five new games for iOS devices on the App Store, and launched a sale of more than 70 popular titles which will be priced at $1 for a limited time. The new titles now available include Scrabble Free and Cause of Death Free, The Game of Life for iPad, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Scrabble Free and Cause of Death Free are both ad-supported but complete versions of the games, however the ad-free paid versions of both games are now on sale for $1 each. Scrabble is the classic board game of words and letters, while Cause of Death is a detective-murder-mystery game with new episodes each week.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 ($1 during the sale) is a full multiplayer shoot-em-up war simulation with 14 single-player missions and support for up to three other players connected wirelessly or over the net. The Game of Life HD ($7) is exclusively for the iPad and can handle up to six players and has other exclusive features. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 ($7) uses 13 "klassic" warriors and 10 arenas along with multiplayer support over local network or Bluetooth with Retina Display-quality graphics.

Other EA Mobile games included in the limited-time $1 sale include Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit for iPad, SimCity Deluxe for iPad, Wolfenstein RPG, The Simpsons Arcade, Monopoly, Dragon's Lair and many other titles, includes sports games, Sims games, classic board games and more.
