Visual productivity suite adds community solutions
CS Odessa have released the latest version of their flagship visual-productivity software, ConceptDraw Office v2, which integrates ConceptDraw Mindmap, ConceptDraw Pro and ConceptDraw Project and now extends to include the online ConceptDraw Solutions Park, a service that delivers future product extensions as well as company- and user-created solutions for project management, diagramming and business productivity.
The three separate applications are now integrated using the Ingryre 2 engine to allow each program to share data with the other. As an example, a user brainstorming in MindMap would only need to click once to generate a project chart of those ideas in Project. For further efficiency, the license of ConceptDraw Office works on both Mac and Windows platforms. Using the Solutions Park, users can share their own solutions or download solutions posted by others. The update also includes enhancements and new features to the individual programs.
ConceptDraw MindMap now features the ability to output to virtually any format, offers many-to-many collaboration, five presentation styles and a new map template for better visual impact. ConceptDraw Pro adds more than 10,000 new drawing objects, a new Rapid Draw feature, Live Object technology that allows updated data from external applications to be incorporated, and MindMap importation as a fishbone diagram, org chart, or UML diagram.
ConceptDraw Project has been updated with additional reporting capabilities, new dashboard support and better import/export functionality.
ConceptDraw Office v2 is now available for $499 and requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher and/or Windows XP or better. The three applications are also available as standalone products, with prices of $219 for ConceptDraw MindMap and Project and $249 for ConceptDraw Pro.
