Dell Precision 2011 PCs leak with Fractal design

Dell plans to spark new life in its pro workstations if a leak of case renders comes true. The high-end Precision T7600 as well as the mid-range T3600 and T5600 should all use a new design language known as Fractal. Each system spotted by Engadget would have a segmented shape with bright red accents; they would be very modular and use what appears to be a special heatsink and otherwise organization more reminiscent of a Mac Pro.

What's inside isn't known, but most models are likely to use desktop versions of Intel's Sandy Bridge, ranging up to quad and hex Core i7 processors. Precision workstations also use Xeons, but these aren't necessarily part of the initial Sandy Bridge release and could be left out.

While just models, the new Precisions may be candidates for a launch at Dell's CES keynote on January 6. Regular desktops and notebooks, also using Sandy Bridge, could make an appearance at the same time.
