GoSign adds signature capture to FileMaker Go

updated 09:25 pm EST, Wed December 8, 2010

Available for Mac, iPad, iPhone, PC

Geist Interactive have released what they believe to be the first commercial in-app extension to the new FileMaker Go for iOS devices, GoSign. The add-on does not require any internet connection, other application or server to work, capturing signatures using a finger or stylus in any FileMaker Go workflow.

Signatures are captured and stored as Base64 encoded data URLs, which makes them easy to use in web viewers or to add to HTML emails. A free companion plug-in allows these signatures to be converted to PNG format for storage or other display purposes.

Signatures can now be required to complete a process, such as signing for a package, or added to form processing or PDF generation.

GoSign is available now and comes in two license forms: a Site License (one person or company, one location) for $79 and a GoSign Distribution License (allowing FM developers to incorporate the product into their own solutions) for $299. A trial version is available.
