Mophie outs largest capacity iPhone 4 battery
Mophie on Thursday introduced an upgraded iPhone 4 battery pack case. The juice pack plus more than doubles the life of the iPhone 4 and follows on the footsteps for the juice pack air for the same device. Its battery has a 2,000mAh capacity, which makes it the largest of any juice pack made to date.
The case is only 1mm thicker than the air case and sports an acoustic design that redirects sound from the bottom of the iPhone 4 to the front of the handset. Like other Mophie cases for Apple devices, the latest sports a pass-through USB design that lets users charge and sync their devices. A switch turns on the pack to charge the iPhone it houses. A four-light LED indicator lets users know the charge status of the case.
The case is thus far only available in black, but will soon begin shipping in cyan, magenta and yellow. Either color is priced at $100.
