Logitech revamps Netflix interface for Revue box

updated 10:50 pm EST, Tue November 30, 2010

Netflix UI to support browsing

Logitech is reportedly preparing to launch an update to the Revue software, which brings notable improvements to the Netflix utility. As detailed in several screenshots posted on AndroidCentral, the update UI appears to provide a full set of menu options for searching, browsing by genre, or viewing new arrivals.

Users are currently limited to viewing content that has already been placed in their Instant Queue. The update appears to bring the Netflix functionality up to speed with other set-top boxes, such as Apple TV.

The new build is dated November 22, suggesting a public launch in the near future. The company has yet to confirm a release date for the new software, however.

    Logitech Revue improving

The Logitech Revue integrated with my DISH Network service has really changed the way I view TV. I love that I can browse the web, jam out to Pandora all while waiting for commercials to pass. It's incredible to think of how far technology is coming to improve entertainment. As an employee of DISH I know that any updates to Netflix will only make my TV watching better. My name is Nicole and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
