Restored support for Trust, Thunderbird
TranslateIt! for Mac, a tool that can translate and define text on-the-fly in all Cocoa-based Mac apps, has been reworked into a new version, called i3, that offers a new dictionary format, new text translation tool, adds a number of European localizations, improves the suggestions search engine, adds F-Script support and restores support for Thunderbird and Trust, among other improvements.
TranslateIt! acts as an always-available supplement to the built-in OS X dictionary, allowing spontaneous translations and definitions of words in a vast number of languages via clipboard, drag-and-drop, manual input or simply moving the mouse over the questionable words if desired. It supports the most widely-used dictionary and translation services and delivers them on-the-fly when needed. The program features easy creation of custom user dictionaries as well as a built-in Words Quiz game for learning.
Other changes include full text translation of URLs or hosted PDF files, online customer support incorporated into the app and updates to the French, German and Polish localizations, along with many other minor fixes and enhancements.
TranslateIt! for Mac i3 is available now and costs $35 for a one-year licence, or $79 for a lifetime license. A 20-day free trial is available, and volume/educational discounts can be arranged by contacting the company directly.
