Oak Trail-based OCOSMOS OSC1 UMPC details emerge

Korea OCOSMOS has revealed the details about its forthcoming UMPC, the OCOSMOS OC1. It will be based on Intel's Oak Trail platform and will be powered by a single-core 1.5GHz or 1.9GHz chip running Windows 7. The device is being pitched at gamers and is equipped with a 400MHz graphics processor with 720p decoding capability.

It features a 5-inch display in a slider design and will have a purported battery life of between 5 and 10 hours depending on whether the shipping model is equipped with a 24Watt hour battery or a smaller 10-15Watt hour battery.

Connectivity includes USB 2.0, HDMI, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) 3G and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. It is VoIP capable and is also compatible with DLNA devices.

No pricing details are available at time of writing, although it is expected to launch by March 2011.
