MegaSeg updated to v5.5.3, put on sale

updated 05:50 pm EST, Tue November 23, 2010

More stable, and now 20 percent off

Fidelity Media's popular DJing software MegaSeg has been updated to v5.5.3, introducing more than 30 stability and performance enhancements throughout the application, also fixing a rare issue with the category browser. The update is free for existing v5.x users. To celebrate Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the software is on sale for 20 percent off it's regular price until November 30th.

MegaSeg is normally priced at $249 for new customers, and upgrades from pre-v5 versions at $79. Under the sale, new copies are $199 and upgrades are $59. A free trial version is also available.

Other changes in the v5.5.3 update include optimizations to ambient video playlists, automatic volume control, track logging, drag-n-drop, video playback, mixing and minor changes to the Wave Viewer. The Wave Viewer was introduced in v5.5 with multi-touch trackpad support for beat syncing and visual mixing and cueing. MegaSeg v5.5 also integrated album art in redesigned decks, introduced track-info popups, category browsing, 3x gain and other features. Fidelity Media recommends the upgrade to v5.5.3 for all v5 users.
