Sessions for home and small business consultants

MacTech Magazine today announced plans to offer another MacTech Boot Camp. The one-day event will take place San Francisco on Wednesday, January 26th, the same week as Macworld 2011, allowing attendees to visit both on the same trip. The MacTech Boot Camp will focus on consultants and techs who work with home users or small businesses.

Sessions include Resources for Finding Answers, Backup Systems and Options, Client Handling, Support Call Techniques, Software Updates, Remote Support and Windows on the Mac Options. There are sessions for Basic Scripting, Basic Command Line, Viruses and Security and iOS Support, among others.

There will be a moderated study and discussion session on supporting Mac OS X held by v>2 Consulting and an Apple Certification Exam will be offered. The study group and exam will be discounted by $100 at the workshop, bringing the price down to $200.

Early registration will save $200 on the workshop, costing $295 until December 15. After that date, registration will fetch $495.
