Improved integration with Spotlight, QuickLook
DevonTechnologies have updated their flagship information manager DevonThink and their note-taking application DevonNote to v2.0.6, fixing bugs and improving performance -- along with a fix for some sporadic issues with DevonThink To Go ($15), the iOS companion to DevonThink.
DevonThink To Go itself has now had its first maintenance update submitted to Apple and should be available to users soon, says the company. The update further stabilizes sync support. Future updates to the mobile app will add
Among the fixes to DevonThink is a change allowing the text of email messages displayed in QuickLook to be selectable, and the restoration of recording shortcuts for the Sorter and Take Note panels. In addition, most DevonNote or DevonThink documents can now be previewed using QuickLook. Yahoo Messenger chat logs can now be imported as plain text, and web addresses from Google Chrome now properly retain their URL. DevonThink Pro Office now includes images in archived email messages displayed using QuickLook. Other minor fixes and enhancements have also been made, so the update is recommended for all DevonThink and DevonNote users.
Finally, the company also today updated their free EasyFind utility to correct two bugs introduced in last week's update. Now at v4.6.1, the application can be downloaded from the company's web site.
