Verizon 'happy' to sell Windows Phone 7 when ready

Verizon to bring out WP7 phones when they arrive

Verizon showed it bears no ill will towards Microsoft for excluding it from its initial batch of Windows Phone 7 devices through a Twitter post earlier this month. Back in September, Microsoft said it won't bring out its new OS with support for the aging CDMA network because it wanted to focus only on GSM network to ensure a smooth launch.

The posting doesn't hint at just when WP7 handsets will arrive at Verizon. This is likely to be sometime during the first half of 2011, however, in suit with previous report and Microsoft's reasons for excluding CDMA support in WP7. Sprint is known to be getting the HTC 7 Pro early next year.

"We could do more things, or we could do fewer things really, really well," Senior product lead Greg Sullivan said back in September.
