Update uses CalDAV to bypass Apple Sync Services

Chronos has launched an update to its productivity suite, SOHO Organizer 8.5. The new version adds Apple MobileMe calendar support, due to Apple's recent rewrite in CalDAV. SOHO Organizer v8.5 can sync directly with MobileMe calendars, now bypassing Apple Sync Services.

The suite includes SOHO Organizer, SOHO Notes and SOHO Print Essentials, allowing users to manage tasks, calendars, notes and contacts. It can record voice, video and still images as notes, has a built-in journal and integrates with email for contact tracking. It also offers sync with iPhone, iPod touch and other cell phones.

SOHO Organizer 8.5 requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or higher. It costs $100 and offers a family pack for $180.
