Tablet now widespread in US retail
Best Buy is planning to expand its US iPad sales once again and bring the tablet to its spinoff mobile stores, according to Bloomberg. The company currently has just 135 mobile outlets, but is scheduled to launch another 23 before Thanksgiving. The additional iPad sales will begin on November 7th.
In September Best Buy expanded iPad availability from just 673 of its mainline stores to all 1,093 open at the time. The device is now increasingly easy to find in US retail shops, as beyond Apple and Best Buy, it can also be found in Target, Walmart and soon Sam's Club locations. Apple is believed to be making an intense push to secure as many holiday sales as possible.
