More changes spotted in gold master code
Apple is already approving a variety of iOS 4.2-capable apps for sale, including ones supporting Game Center, developers note. Of special significance is the availability of the first iOS 4.x apps for the iPad, with features like multitasking support and more convenient interface access to Game Center content. One early cited example is Big Bad Sudoku Book 9.
In the wake of Apple's gold master release, several more changes have been spotted in iOS 4.2. On the iPhone and iPod touch, for instance, a volume slider has been returned to the task switcher. Users can access it by sliding the dock as far to the left in the switcher as possible.
AirPlay is now quickly reachable from the iPhone/iPod switcher as well. More critically, Apple has dealt with an iPhone-exclusive security hole which allows people to circumvent passcode locks and dial any number they want. The trick involves hitting the lock button at the right moment while making a call from iOS 4.1's Emergency Call screen.

Huh?

How could it return, it was never there?
Now if they'd only package in the ability to turn on/off things like Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G, into an easy to access screen.
