iPhone 4 accessories: Hip-Kicker belt clip, Cyclops cases

updated 07:10 pm EDT, Thu October 28, 2010

Moderately priced protection for the iPhone 4

Trident Case and Bracketon have recently announced additional adornments for the iPhone 4; a line of durable cases called the Cyclops from Trident, and a belt-clip that doubles as a kickstand called the Hip-Kicker from Bracketon. Both lines are now available online and at popular consumer electoronics shops.

The Hip-Kicker ($18) functions as a swiveled belt clip for your uncased iPhone, but also folds out to act as a stand in portrait or landscape mode. As with Hip-Kicker lines for other popular phones, the iPhone 4 version supports a variety of detachable alternative mounting solutions for automobiles, including air vent and windshield mounters. Models that support earlier versions of iPhone are still available.

The Cyclops line for iPhone 4 ($25) -- and a variety of other new models, such as the Samsung Galaxy S and HTC Evo -- come in six stylish colors, using impact-resistant polycarbonate with a silicone ring along with a screen protector that offers anti-glare, anti-dust and anti-scratch protection. In addition to black, the Cyclops can be ordered in Red, White, Orange, Blue and Yellow.
