Mac bundles also available for Halloween
Steam today quietly brought Left 4 Dead, the first of the "zombie apocalypse" series, to the Mac -- and put it on sale for $10, half off it's usual $20 price. The company also slashed prices on related bundles, such as Left 4 Dead combined with Left 4 Dead 2 for $15, and a four-license version of Left 4 Dead for $30.
The "Game of the Year" edition of Left4Dead for Mac includes an expansion pack (“The Sacrifice"). The game sets four characters against a huge army of zombies and mutants, and includes 20 maps, 10 weapons, four in-game "movies" and features achievements, matchmaking, and rankings.
Like Left4Dead 2, the game requires 10.6.4 Snow Leopard, on a dual-core 2GHz Intel Mac or better and a gamer-class discrete video card (ATI Radeon HD 2400, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M or better).
