Apple refurbs: Macs starting at $849

Price breaks on refurbished Mac models

Apple's online store today has three refurbished Mac models starting at $849. The 1.86GHz MacBook Air with 2GB of RAM and a 120GB hard drive was $999, but has seen a $150 price break. The 2.4GHz white MacBook with 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive has had the same price break. Also on the $849 list is the refurb. Mac mini with 2.66GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, dual 500GB hard drives and Snow Leopard Server.

Moving up the pricing scale a bit you'll find the refurb. 13.3-inch MacBook Pro with a 2.4GHz processor, 4GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive for $1019. Also priced at $1019 is the 21.5-inch iMac with a 3.06GHz Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive. Four Mac models are priced at $1269, starting with the 21.5-ingh iMac with a 3.2GHz Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. The 13.3-inch MacBook Pro with a 2.66GHz processor, 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive has seen a $230 price break to $1269. Save $430 on the 27-inch iMac with a 3.06GHz processor, 4GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive, now $1269. Or opt for the 21.5-inch refurb. iMac with a 3.33GHz processor, 4GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive, which is also $1269.
