Variety of styles, colors for 11" and 13" models

MacBook and iPad bag maker STM are quick on the uptake, following rapidly on the heels of Apple's revamping of the MacBook Air with new jackets, bags and backpacks which will hold the 11- and 13-inch models -- or other machines of a similar size -- that include extras like iPhone pockets and iPad slip compartments.

The Glove ($25 for extra-small size) fits the 11-inch Air and comes in five colors -- black, burgundy, magenta, teal and orange. It features a double-lined zipper guard to protect the laptop from coming into contact with (or being scratched by) the metal zipper.

The Jacket ($25 for extra-small, $30 for small) is a basic bag for the 11-inch and 13-inch model MacBook Air, comes in black or chocolate, the features a zippered front pocket for cords and an adjustable shoulder strap.

More in the usual messenger-bag style, the Slim ($40) sports an external "slider" pocket where the wearer can put their mobile phone for easy access, and foam- and corduroy-lined interior pockets for electronics, along with smaller compartments for accessories.

STM's Vertical message bag (pricing not yet announced) includes a hidden iPad-sized slip pocket as well as additional room for extra accessories. It is only available in black.

For those who need more of a backpack solution, the Revolution ($100) features water-resistant nylon fabric and reflective material in spots to make the wearer easier to see. It includes a rain chute for further protection from downpours and comes in black or burnt orange.
