Adds new Workgroup Manager product to the mix

Enfocus have updated their entire family of PDF preflight and editing software to version 10, and introduced a new tool to enable management of Pitstop Pro among multiple users. The new application, PitStop Workgroup Manager, works with floating licenses of Pitstop Pro to share preflight profiles, action lists, workspaces and more from a single point.

PitStop Pro, the company's flagship PDF preflight and editing application, sees dramatically improved color profile and management handling, a new dialog box and options to make action list creation easier, and user-requested changes such as Design Layout management, a new ability to search within the Font Picker, and RGB values displayed numerically.

PitStop Server v10 introduces automatic transparency flattening and PDF optimization, along with gaining new color management capabilities, such as Black Point Compensation and automatic ink coverage detail checking.

The new PitStop Workgroup Manager is intended to be used by creative teams that all work with PitStop Pro, creating a central point from which a manager or team leader can easily control the allocation of settings for the entire team, ensuring that all users are up-to-date and in sync on global changes, output intents and more.

PitStop Pro sells for $699 new, and upgrade prices vary depending previous version being upgraded, starting at $199. The company warns users with PitStop Pro 7.x that after January 1st, 2011 they will be unable to upgrade.

PitStop Server sells for $3299 new, with upgrades varying depending on which version is being upgraded, starting at $749.

PitStop Workgroup Manager is included as part of any Floating Licenses for PitStop Pro v10.
