updated 01:35 am EDT, Wed October 20, 2010

Free collection of effects and color adjustments

OnOne Software, makers of various collections of photography effect and enhancement filters, have updated their free Perfect Presets/ collection for Photoshop Lightroom v3, adding a new collection from OnOne Vice President of Marketing Mike Wong to the existing ones from Photoshop guru Jack Davis, for a total of 192 presets.

Perfect Presets for Photoshop Lightroom v3 include new automatic color and tone adjustments, along with black and white conversion options, noise reduction and an assortment of stylized effects. Already in the collection were presets for image optimization and brushes for special effects work.

Once installed, the Perfect Presets appear in the Develop Module of Lightroom. New effects include Brilliant Blue Skies, Super Shadow Saver and Mocha (a warm B&W effect).

All three volumes come in a single download from OnOne's free software page. The program requires Mac OS X 10.5 or better, Windows XP SP2 or better, and Adobe's Photoshop Lightroom v1 or higher.
