REALbasic plugins get accessibility in Carbon

Keynote Pro has launched a new theme, Aurora, while MonkeyBread has updated its suite of REALbasic plugins.

Keynote Pro has released Aurora for Keynote, a new theme tied to Apple's presentation software. It includes 26 master slide templates covering a variety of purposes, with new Citation and Compare & Contrast layouts. The download is also accompanied by the Aurora Supplemental Materials file, which includes the Aurora palette, Button Objects for interactive presentations, and an infographic style using translucent hexagons to create a sense of perspective. Aurora Standard Edition costs $25, while a Pro Edition with extra HD content is priced at $35. Also available is the Pro Mobile edition, which bundles Pro Edition and new Aurora EP Edition content for $50.

MBS updates collection of REALbasic plugins

MBS has released an update to its suite of REAlbasic plugins. The code provides more than 30,000 functions spread across roughly 1,400 classes for developing software titles. Version 10.5 adds classes for Drag and Drop on Windows, along with new ColorSync functions. The update also lets users add accessibility support to Carbon applications, and is required for anyone wanting to run REAL Studio 2010r5 and higher. A full list of documented changes, additions, and fixes can be found on the Monkeybread website. The plugins require REALbasic 2006r4 or later, and can be bought online in smaller components for $30 each, or as a complete package for $280.
