All lines getting Wednesday update?
Shipping times for the MacBook Pro have changed from 24 hours to two days in the UK, a MacNN reader observes. The wait is present for other MacBook models as well, including the Air and the basic plastic version. Two-day delays can also be spotted in the French and German online Apple Stores.
Apple is expected to update one or more Macs at a special event on October 20th. Most attention has revolved around the MacBook Air, which has not been updated in some time and could be getting a significant overhaul. Buyers may have the option of either 11.6- or 13.3-inch sizes, for instance, and customizations like RAM upgrades and larger SSDs. Other rumored improvements include eight to 10 hours of battery life and a much faster boot time.
If they are upgraded, other MacBooks are only expected to get "speedbump" improvements, rather than fundamental design changes. Newer Intel and NVIDIA processors are among the possibilities.

Changing the Price?
This may be the prelude to a minor specification tweak associated with a disproportionate alteration to the non-dollar prices. Wait and see!
