Can now search transactions across all accounts
IGG Software has updated its popular financial management app for the iOS devices, iBank Mobile, to version 1.2. The new version sports iOS 4 support, including enhanced resolution for Retina Display devices and multi-tasking. Other new features include a QIF export feature and the ability to search for transactions across all accounts, along with performance improvements and bug fixes.
The app, which can function as a standalone program or sync with iBank 3.5 or higher for Mac, supports offline transaction entry, account balance review, payee lists, and support for split transactions and multiple currencies. It features an easy, calculator-like way to add expenses, which can be categorized so users can quickly see where their money goes. The app also graphs balances over time, tracks credit-card expenses and monitors brokerage accounts.
The new QIF export capability in v1.2 lets users migrate data to a wide variety of financial programs, including iBank for Mac. The update is free to existing users; new users can buy the iBank Mobile for $5 at the App Store, where it maintains a 5-of-5 star rating. It requires an iPhone or iPod Touch running iOS 3.1.3 or later.
